Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Body Guard born in the past three hundred years. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nicholas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nicholas. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears tan robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available she will default to her rapier. She has done her best to style her red hair to look like a famous performer. Her brown eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Katherine speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Description: He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly spears and longswords. His head has been shaved. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Alex was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anselm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
