Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by her family

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair is short and golden. His eyes are likewise blue.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He uses divination through singing.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Dean abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
