Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: The child of a Guard, who enjoyed hunting, Melissa was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She struck the Performer job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Personality: She is a Carter first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Soapmaker profession.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Sybil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sybil grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sybil. She has worked as a Carter like her mother before her.
