He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a Merchant, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Gerald was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Beggar. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
