History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. After a long history of fighting, Mary and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She is a Slaad in disguise. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.
