Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Jacoba was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a Barkeep, her mother struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is content; and she seems to be bored by most things
