History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by drow. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Bertram took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: John was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. Hugh is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Jeweler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Jeweler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Her hair is white, silky, and of moderate length. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Eva will drive conversation. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her youth she was a Barber, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
