History: The child of a Bookbinder, who enjoyed hunting, Oriel was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She tends to her Brewer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and balancing her hectic life and new brewer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Simon wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Alex is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Alex was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance.
