Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Maynild alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Maynild never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 8 years.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A freak accident while working with his Apothecary father left him crippled. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
