Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Margery embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Margery was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Margery's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A freak accident while working with her Interpreter mother left her crippled. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

History: Maynild lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
