Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she's looking for her big break

Description: She is a physically imposing dark-skinned woman. She wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. She has wavy white hair. Her half smiles and green eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Agnes was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Agnes grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Agnes. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and seeks redemption

Description: A moderately attractive man, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, yellow shirt, and brown tie. His tied-back hair is red. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
