History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions.
