The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He worked as a nervous Ruler and found it very stressful. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.
