History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Gifted from a young age, Frederick studied abroad. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Giselle reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She's also a talented Dilettante, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Born in the south to a Painter, Hugolina learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she's looking for her big break
