History: Simon was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in sai use. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
