History: Jacoba lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Eloise was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Mortician work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mortician work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She's also a talented Doctor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. After coming to the age of reason, Hugolina took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. After a long history of fighting, Hugolina and her spouse have recently divorced.
