After months of barely getting by, Margery managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
