History: Herleva hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Herleva alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Miles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
