Description: This late middle aged man tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look and is in decent physical shape. He wears his chestnut hair up in a very large beehive style do. He has hazel eyes.
Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heward grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: To protect his home; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her red hair, when down, is lengthy. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.
Motivation: She is greedy; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His golden hair is singed and shortened. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: Bernard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears a brown collared shirt and grey skirt. She accessorizes with a red scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across her shirt. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her blue eyes.
Personality: Beatrice hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.
History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
