History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. A true patriot, Roger would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he's looking for his big break

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears suspenders and black workpants. His shirt is tan, and he wears a heavy black leather apron most of the time. He keeps his long golden hair kept up in a rat tail. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Gerald isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Gerald lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Description: She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are hazel.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born in the east. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Priest they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Healer, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and doesn't want to be a healer and was forced into it by her family
