He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Her druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Through the years after Avice was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Avice's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Avice and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Mercenary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mercenary work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
