Description: He stands about 5'6" and likes to wear ponchos typically of a light yellow in addition to tight pants. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. He wears his black hair down. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miner but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Gerald liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has achieved small success as a Miner.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.
History: Gifted from a young age, Mary studied abroad. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and to reunite with her absent mother

Description: She dresses in black turtlenecks beneath a white coat with brown slacks. She carries a battered kukri and tarnished halberd as well. Her auburn hair is smooth and relatively long. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: Anne was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
