History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. John was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears pastel robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a greataxe, but if one is not available she will default to her whip, and is pretty ugly. Her chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her eyes are violet.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Sarah lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by her family; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is wearing a long, grey, dusty cloak. His hair is cut close to his head. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He tends to his Slave Trader job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has a crush on the local crown-heir

Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her auburn hair is matted, messy, and big. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.
