History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Avelina is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times.
