History: Emmeline was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a spice merchant and was forced into it by his family
