His silver hair is singed and shortened. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Roland was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Miner, but he got bored and became a Animal Trainer. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Ernest wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... History: Ernest lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has since lost track of the people in his past.
