Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Joan embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: 5'7" and muscular, this southern woman wears an entirely red suit with blue socks and a vest with buckled shoes. Her hair is long and black with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small red clips. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her green eyes.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Sybil was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Sybil never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
