History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Helen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Helen never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
