Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Through the years after Norman was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Norman's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
