History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theobald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born in a small forest village. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
