History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Rolf was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Adventurer. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and many dire rats want her driven away
