History: Matilda was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She tends to her Masseuse job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bowyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Helen hails from a village terrorized by orcs. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting orcs, the young Helen began to lead the lost caravan. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
