His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Arnold was born with his father's beautiful face. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
