Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Avelina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She's also a talented Servant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Guard business.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mayor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is obsessed with her god.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying west to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
