History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Matilda has worked very hard to control her curse. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After a long history of fighting, Susannah and her spouse have recently divorced.
