Personality: He is happy with his job as a Miner. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in the west to a Miner, Roland learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Blacksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Miner, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Guy alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.
