History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Adelard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has never given up on his music dream.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She now mingles about in high society.
