He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Alex was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to reunite with his absent father

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Herleva isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Herleva never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
