History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

History: Jacoba lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
