History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mary grew up listening to her father's many stories. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Mary never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
