History: Cecily was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Cartwright profession.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fisher. He has achieved small success as a Fisher.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Margery was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Merchant they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Bather, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and to pay off her debts

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is a great chef.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
