Description: A man of a pale complexion, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His moppish golden hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has brown eyes.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.
Motivation: He is greedy; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He is in excellent shape and wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His long silver hair reaches down to his waist. This violet eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: Gerald was born with his father's beautiful face. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants to work out more often

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a white cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. His red hair is matted, messy, and big. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: He got into the Marshal business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. He has achieved small success as a Marshal.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a dilettante again

Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her brown eyes.
Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She is obsessed with her god.
History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.
