History: Ermina hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A freak accident while working with her Bookbinder mother left her crippled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 6'1" and wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a brown coat. He wears his blonde hair up. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her auburn hair, when down, is lengthy. Her brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Katherine embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: She got into the Barber business at a young age. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Katherine grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Katherine. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Barber for the past few years.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
