History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shoemaker they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Doctor, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Herleva's homeland. Herleva decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.
