History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Katherine was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: John lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
