History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Agatha grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. After a long history of fighting, Hadwisa and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Elysande was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He is typically in his Carter uniform. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He sports a long red beard, and similarly colored long hair. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker yellow hat.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He tends to his Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.
