History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. After coming to the age of reason, Joan took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Joan never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was taken from his home at a very young age.
