After several years of this she finally managed to escape. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Maynild was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Gilbert was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Gilbert has worked very hard to control his curse. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Cook responsibilities is difficult; and she is wracked by social anxiety
