Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Balimaar was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Henry was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He then took over the family business and is one of the better Barkeep for hire.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born in the east. Gerard was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Spice Merchant. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
