History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Ernest was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
